Project Cost, Delivery, and Status


Project Cost
The overall project cost is $200,000, funded by a combination of Augusta-Richmond County SPLOST funds, customer department operating funds, and Federal grant monies.

Project Delivery and Status
The project will move through five distinct phases, described below.

  • Phase 1 Collection Preparation – Defining network to be collected
    • Cartegraph has received data from Augusta IT-GIS and is planning the drive path through the city.  Cartegraph vehicles and personnel should be in the Augusta area in September 2015.
  • Phase 2 Field Work – Imagery collection.  IN PROGRESS AS OF 8/24/2015
  • Phase 3 Data Processing – Imagery stitching, point cloud, blur faces, and license plates
  • Phase 4 QA/QC – Post processing
  • Phase 5 Final Deliverables – Summary Report and cloud imagery
The important dates for key components of the project are listed as follows:

  • Mobilization ~ 9/7/15
  • Drive commencement ~ 9/9/15
  • Drive completion ~ 12/18/15
  • Processing completion ~ 3/4/16
  • QA/QC ~ 3/4/16 - 3/25/16
  • Delivery ~ 3/25/16
